Clay Pigeon shooting has a governing body. Here in Wales we have the WCTSA, (The Welsh Clay Target Shooting Association). In conjunction with Scottish, Irish and English counterparts, a classification system exists. This system encourages personal improvement and whilst some only wish to break clays for fun, others desire to climb through the ranks, shooting competition.
Our grounds are very extensive and offer the casual or competitive shot an exhausting array of target combinations.
Bob Valentine Shooting School instruct and coach with a proven approach; ensuring you learn to shoot properly, that is to say, you the competitor learn to “read” targets correctly, understand the need for precise preparation prior to calling, “pull!”… and execute your shots using a recognised technique… in short, you “take control”.
“Masterclass” group coaching days are popular and are a great way to improve your scores. They are ideal for small numbers of up to 4 persons who currently, are all shooting to a similar level of ability.
Starting with that all-important, Gun Fit and Eye Dominance check, progress is made, as a squad, discussing and perfecting preferred technique on a variety of targets and combinations.
If you would like to see your scores improve and move up a class… get in touch, you’ll be amazed with the results.
